The panel was shipped in very secure packaging and arrived in excellent shape. It is well built and very sturdy. Even though it is a solid panel, its aluminum frame makes it very light but sturdy and it folds away nicely. I do own comparable 400W foldable solar panels from a different manufacturer that have the foldable legs that are attached with velcro but they are very flimsy in comparison and I find that the ZOUPW 450W panel is much easier to move and set up with its rigid construction and legs. Output has been consistently above 425W on perfect sunny days. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
This is the best color panel that I have ever owned. Construction is great and easy to use.
These panels are AWESOME!!! They are constructed really well, are easy to store and set up, they're quite light and are super efficient. I just bought another and I highly recommend them!!!
Well made and very efficient. Great option for home backup or portable power on the go.
Bought mine last Winter. The 450 Watt foldable was field tested on a sunny New England day. Your panels preformed WELL. output measured between 457 & 461 watts. Charged up my solar power station in 5 hours. Liked it so much I bought a second 450 unit. NICE job
I am very pleased with my Zoup-W purchase, I have set it so taken it in for the night at-least a dozen times. It is both versatile and economically sound. As a matter of fact I have tested it use on Pecron F3000LFP an F5000LFP as well as on Oupes Mega One’s. I have personally seen inputs above the stated 450’s from as Early as 10:30am.
I spent 30 days in the Alabama Hills Ca. Set the panels next to the car and staked them down. 2 rain events 1/4", 3 major wind advisories, panels never budged a inch. Really unbelievable 25 to 35mph wind with gusts to 50mph.. Very common to see 505 watts on my EcoFlow delta max plus out of a 450wt panel.. Now i need your 180wt for my bluetti elite 30v2. Super panel, Jim S.
After reading many positive reviews online, I purchased the ZOUPW 450 watt panel to use with an Anker Solix F3800 power station last winter. This is my first experience with solar, and it's been awesome so far, living up to the reviews!
We replaced a gas generator to use the Anker as backup power during outages, and also to top up our EV on occasion (it has 120 and 240 V outlets). Recharging the unit with free solar via the ZOUPW panel has already been a wonderful experience. Seeing how easy it is to charge the unit with solar, I plan to use the power station more often for everyday power needs in my home office.
The ZOUPW panel was delivered very quickly and was packaged extremely well to prevent shipping damage (and arrived in perfect condition). Setting it up was super simple even for a newbie.
What sets the ZOUPW panel apart for me is the quality. There are so many panels out there at various price points, but this panel seems so well-designed and built. The panel comes with a very rugged padded storage bag, and even the design work that went into this is impressive. It is the exact right size to fit the panel snugly when closed, but it is also designed to very easily pull the panel out to use and also to store it again. The zippers on the bag glide very smoothly. The whole setup seems meant to last for many, many cycles! (I'm hoping that once summer comes, I will keep the panel out of its bag for quick setup on sunny days, but we have two cats and I wanted to be sure they don't try the panel as a scratching surface so I've been rebagging it each time. But again, even removing the panel from its bag and setting up takes under 5 minutes due to how un-fussy the panel and bag are designed to be. I imagine campers must love this thing!
The panel itself seems to be of high quality and finish. All of the panels look flawless, the corners have protective material, the hinges and stands all glide. Panels feel solid even being lightweight and are easy to unfold to set up. All supplied connectors and cords seem sturdy as well. This is one of the highest-quality items of any kind I've purchased in recent memory, just 5 stars from me all around.
And of course, in actual use, the ZOUPW panel has been great! It has regularly exceeded the rated 450 watts in full sun (our temps have been ideal lately as well, not too hot yet, so I'm expecting the wattage to drop some in the heat based on what I've read about solar panels in general).
I'm so pleased that I'm planning to add a second panel just to charge the Anker more quickly and more often to use it to its full advantage.
Very happy ZOUPW newbie here!
Solid value for the money. The solar panel is solid and controller is surprisingly good.
Very impressed with these panels. They feel like high quality, especially the carry bag. Very easy to set up and move around. I had some flexible panels which were a pain to move. Being rigid they are easy to adjust throughout the day. I wish the stands were adjustable to get a bit more height out of them, however as is they do what I need them to. I will be getting more.
These panels are high quality. Customer support is awesome and very responsive. Very happy with purchase
I recently received my new 400 Watt Portable Solar Panel N-Type 16BB. The first thing I noticed upon unboxing was the quality of the "suitcase" it was in. It seems to have some sort of padding where other video reviews of the competition had little to none. We all want our our panels to last. These cases are of substantial construction. They even provide a handle on the shipping box for convenience. There is also a handle and a shoulder strap for carrying on the case. The front of the case has a large zipper pocket for cables and tools etc. Taking the panels out, the quality is evident here also. A light aluminum frame surrounds each panel with small magnets to ensure easy opening and closing. The panels are wired in parallel so shadows and partial sun they still produce the most wattage. Even the cables connecting the four panels neatly extract and contract so no fraying occurs (talk about important). The kickstands have been improved so the panels are very solid even with wind and the whole setup is quick. As good as all this is the performance is better. Out of the box, when the sun was shinning I got 410 to 430 watts on a 400 watt rated panel! I expect these panels will last a long time. I would have liked the company to offer longer lengths of an extension cable. But hey, they do give us a 13 foot cable with the panels. Quality throughout. So much so that I will be ordering another one to pair up with it in a few days.
Great panel. I once saw it got to 400w during cold weather and clear sky. Would recommend!!
ZOUPW products had been on my radar for a while, but someone on Reddit recommended them so I thought I'd have a look. And I am truly glad I did.
First, they were on sale. That never hurts. Then I did a deep dive into finding reviews of them; Youtube videos spoke well of the company, and AI research also supported the value.
Next was compatibility: Would they work for my Jackery Home Power 3000? Yes - out of the box. Would one of them be compatible with my Vtoman 1800? Yes - with an adapter (which I had).
I thought about it for a couple of days. I did have two, 200 watt Jackery Panels, but that's in the ballpark of about half a charge in a day's time for that Jackery.
So I bought.
The shipping was prompt; and while I was worried about the large heavy item possibly not arriving undamaged, again, AI assured me that ZOUPW took care to add proper padding and heavy corrugated boxes. Sure enough, while there was some damage to both of the cartons, the product inside was in pristine condition.
So next, the test. It was a sunny day here in NC; I quickly hooked up one to the Jackery 3000. In moments I was getting about 324 watts... 92% of rated! Not bad... and then the second one, the wattage stayed solid, I got 645 watts total.
Ah, but what about first impressions? Well, the folding panels I currently have (Jackery, Eco-Worthy, FlexSolar) are all flexible. They work, sure, but that bending with less than perfect bracing is a bit annoying. In the real world (like a beach trip) they need significant security. I was happy (really - I smiled!) to find that the ZOUPW panels themselves were rigid, with sturdy wire props for each of the four panels. These things are SOLID. And while I don't think I need anything else for average use, included are U-shaped "stakes" that allow the panels to be better secured to the ground. A super nice touch.
Bonus points: They come with their own cases! Wow. I'd put that at a $35 to $50 value for one of those alone. They're well made, sturdy zippers, and a pouch for cables and stakes. While they have shoulder straps for easy transport, someone even though to put a stitched handle at the bottom of the case as well. Talk about ease of management! The case is also designed with an opening for the actual handles on the panels themselves.
Some might ask why I didn't go with higher wattage. Well, the price was right, for one. And it's acceptable power for my stations, easily meeting my needs in a day of reasonable sun. And the higher the watts, the bigger the panels. For boondocking, I can manage both of these in our RV, and again, assuming good sun, these will keep RVs air conditioning on low for hours with pass-through charging with the 3000 power station.
Really, these are, as my title reads, amazing value, great power. My first test showed 92% of rated, and I suspect under even more ideal conditions I may hit 100% or even higher.
What's missing? Well they aren't bifacial. I don't consider that a big deal. They don't have any built-in USB ports that I know of... also not a big deal. I still give these the full 5 stars. These will serve me well for camping or for the occasional power outages.
Very happy!
This solar panel is well-made! I’m getting 385W when it’s fully exposed to sunlight. It’s a bit heavy, but it’s easy to unfold and put away.
Tried it out in the middle of April (Northern Nevada); and it pulled an astounding 326 watts and it wasn't even optimized! Simply amazing for a portable panel.
Even the packing was of super high quality.
The panel itself if great. Light for the amount of power it gives, easy to fold, easy and fast to insert into case (some cases take a little fussing). The magnets are a wonderful idea and work as described. The stands are easy to use and move into place for folding. The addition of the multi-end adaptor is a nice idea, but this extra length with its many adaptors don't fold into the panel you have to remove it each time to fold it up and put away. That is a hassle. Consider providing 1.5 to 2 foot adapter cable with the XT60 end. Then sell a package, separately, of additional adapters as a set that will hook on to this small tail that is permanent on the panel. I bought a 2 foot XT60 adapter cable that we leave on the panel with room to tuck inside an fold up. It would be handy to have a small clip or loop at top to hold that in place while we fold up the panel.
I recently purchased a 450 Watt Portable Solar Panel - N-Type 16BB – Certified Pre-Owned (Used). The solar panel arrived in a timely manner and a visual check showed the panel and contents appeared like new, with no visual damage or scratches.
I set up my solar panel outdoors for testing and connected the solar panel to my Oupes Exodous 2400, 2232 watt power station on a sunny, nearly cloudless day. Living in Vermont, I oriented the panels True South using the compass app on my cell phone, and with the four support legs fully extended. Using the "soup can method", I adjusted the solar panel angle and nearly eliminated the can's shadow. There was no need to tilt the panel on its legs. Within a few minutes, I checked the Wattage output on my Cleanergy app on my cell phone and it recorded 495 Watts, which is 45 more watts than the panel is rated for. I was very pleasantly surprised to say the least. I ran the panel by itself for about an hour, then also hooked up my 75 foot extension cord for combined solar and grid charging. As the sun moved in the sky, I left the solar panel in place. I noted the expected drop in output to470 watts, still 20 watts above the panel specs. The 120V grid power added another 656 watts at the Oupes 700 watt low charge setting. I'm very satisfied with the panel's quality and performance, as well as with the help from the ZOUPW Support Team who answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this panel to others for a very reliable and convenient way to recharge their power stations.

I have three of the 450 Watt N-Type 16 BB panels and they have been Outstanding! So recently I bought an Anker Solix Everfrost 40L Cooler and also the C300X Power Station and both of them Support 100 Watt Solar panels. This Panel has been outstanding powering the cooler. It's the perfect design and size and is easily deployed in seconds. It's also very compact and light weight. Much cheaper and better quality than the Anker equivalent. Thanks ZOUPW I am so impressed with this panel I am buying a second so I have one for each unit. 👍
Great Panel works perfect to charge my Everfrost 2 40L Cooler. Very compact end convient to use and fast setup.
Impressed with this solar panel
going to use it for my jackery and rv for additional solar when needed
