Panels are getting better

Haven't acquired many panels in the last 2 years, but at 106 and 97 watts, this is the only one that ever got this close to its rated output. It was on a cold February day around noon where the sun broke free of some wispy cloud cover. A re-test today showed somewhat lower at 83 watts with the sun slightly masked. But still very good!I think we're starting to see better for our $1 per watt.

Nicely made and an easy to use

This is a nice panel that works better than I expected. Using a test of my power bank, it charges well and does so in a variety of lighting conditions. When I conencted my multimeter to it, I got better than expected results. Overall, I am very happy with this solar panel.

Well-Made solar panel

This has great quality, very functional around the farm where I can put it up on the barn or put it anywhere I want and it's very sturdy and well made it charges my battery pack fast. It's a good size to carry around so I really like it. I use it everyday. It's a daily user

The panel produced more than the rated 100 watts of power.

The N-Type 16BB 100-Watt Solar Panel from ZOUPW is a well-made quality panel with solid output. When I first connected this panel to my power station it was putting out 103 watts during winter. Later in the day it was showing 93 watts and performed well recharging my power station. The panel looks great and has typical connectors that match all my other panels. I have an array with 20 panels and this panel performs equal to the top performers I currently have. Under good conditions you can expect to see the advertised 100 watts out of this panel and charge a small power station of 295-watt hours in about 3 hours. I connected this panel to another 100-watt panel in series with no issues.

Nice compact 100 watt solar panel, small cells

I've got a few buildings that I'm trying to add solar power to. None of them require much energy so a single panel and a battery can light up the space and perhaps power up some tools. This is a nice compact size. Testing in November in PA, I wasn't expecting superior results but I got 83 watts in the afternoon, which is crazy good according to the conditions. The cables and connectors are good quality. I opened the connection box to check for quality and the connections and soldering were clean. The box even has a o-ring to keep the moisture out. A 10 year warranty seals the deal. At currently $119 it's priced higher than some, but the compact size and high efficiency could justify it.

Solid performer, well sealed, packed decently, 97w seen in winter sunlight conditions mid-day.

Panel arrived intact with no damage. Unit is packed in heavy cardboard box with handle and has plastic edge guards and was packed with hard styrofoam corner protection, no front/rear protection.Critical specs:VoC: 26.94vIsc: 4.51ADimensions: 853x578x30mmTesting on my tester without load I immediately got about 121w so was looking decent. Placing it on an Ecoflow River 3 I was getting about 97w steady with no issues in winter sun with a quick rough alignment at 60 degree tilt around 11:35am on 12/1/2024 (North East USA).Unit construction feels solid, no looseness on the frame, silicone sealant on back is thorough, plastic corner protectors can probably be left in place as they do not obscure the cells (Maybe a TINY bit on the top ones, but the bottom are the ones you'd want to keep on anyway if using it on a temporary setup). Overall appears to be a decent panel and pretty compact. N-type cells are supposed to have better longevity but only time will tell with that and this will be a mobile backup for me and not permanently mounted anywhere, yet... I much prefer rigid panels over portable panels for home temporary use as the portable ones are a lot more fragile and more likely to have top layer issues over time vs. glass.

My DIY folding rigid panel system

Nice. Solid hefty but not too heavy. Could use a handle. I'll be making folding panels out of sets of these in two or three using three inch flat hinges also known as flush hinges and one or two kayak handles. I'm also going to be cutting off those gargantuan connectors and hardwiring a minimalist cabling terminating in a single Anderson type plug running through the sides of the aluminum frame through a rubber grommet. This style of folding panel retains the durability of a rigid panel but adds sufficient mass that they won't blow around in 20 mph wind. Adding stick on child protection corners over the existing hard plastic ones will provide extra cushion at the contact points. I also noted that My first panel had much better solder joints at the main bus bars than the one that I was forced to return from another brand. You should check this because bad solder joints provide a point of failure that may not show up immediately.

Solid fairly priced solar panel

This solar panel is comparable to others I have that were priced significantly higher. It has a similar output and as good or better construction quality at a very fair price.

Pretty decent solar panel

This one outperformed its rating! Rated at 100W and I was able to get almost 125W!!!! WOW!!!Test was conducted around 1PM in cool weather with direct sunlight. Tester is the Elejoy 400W Solar Panel tester in MPPT mode. I was able to get 5A, 25.2V. That's really good!!The frame is nice and solid, durable. The panel doesn't flex being good and rigid.

Awesome

This solar panel not only looks good but it works great. I have quite a few solar panels and needed to add more. As I turn my garage into a commercial baking facility, I'm finding the need for good quality and efficient solar panels. There were no burrs in the frame and arrived in good shape. The output is exactly as the rest of my 100w panels. I am very happy with this addition to my existing solar panel array.

Good solar panel -- no complaints

I have been using the N-Type 16BB 100 Watt Solar Panel to power a lithium battery that runs the pump for my backyard water feature, and it performs as expected for its specifications. On a sunny day, the panel generally produces 75-85 watts, which aligns with typical output given factors like temperature, angle, and atmospheric conditions. On cloudy days, the output decreases significantly, usually in the range of 10-50 watts, depending on the cloud cover. Even with these variations, it provides enough power to keep the pump running for 6-8 hours daily, with some reserve charge on clear days. The build quality is solid. The monocrystalline cells are protected by tempered glass, and the aluminum frame feels sturdy without being overly heavy. The panel has handled rain without any noticeable issues, and the IP68 waterproof rating appears to be reliable. The junction box and connectors seem well-designed for outdoor use, and the MC4 connectors fit securely with my cables. The pre-drilled holes made it easy to mount, and I adjusted the angle slightly to improve exposure and allow water to run off. This panel integrates effectively into my system. It charges the battery efficiently and provides enough power to maintain the pump operation throughout the day, even during periods of lower sunlight. During peak sunlight hours, it performs consistently, though it doesn reach the full 100-watt output, which is typical for solar panels in real-world conditions. This panel works well for a small off-grid system and appears durable enough for long-term use. If you are considering it, plan your energy needs based on the realistic output rather than the maximum rating.

Quality 100W solar panel from Zoupw

This solar panel from Zoupw arrived well-packed and without damage. The frame-to-glass junctions all seem solid with no concerns about construction quality. We are in the middle of winter here in NW MN, so solar output rarely reaches 100% at this time of year, but this panel from Zoupw appears to hold its own against other 100W panels in my solar farm. The current listing price is on par for a 100W panel (typically about a buck a watt). No regrets with this solar panel what-so-ever.

100 Watt Solar Panel

Good quality solar panel. I used this with a portage battery with solar hookup and it charged it as expected.

Surpasses Expectations

I put this 100 watt panel through its paces and tested it out here in Michigan's winter. I've had it hooked up to a solar charge controller powering a 100 amp hour battery. The power output is impressive for a 100 watt panel. Even in December's balmy winter weather I was able to get 101 Watts from this panel. Quite impressive if you ask me the build quality is solid and the materials are top-notch. The mc4 cables are securely wired together going into a watertight junction box on the back of the panel. These panels performed better than any other 100 watt panel I have and had no problem keeping my 100 amp hour battery charged. I really like these panels and plan on ordering another set

Nice large panel

We are building a cottage out in the country that is currently off grid (may stay that way, not sure). This solar panel setup is going to be so nice to help me setup a small system to keep my tool batteries charged and have small power available as well for other devices. They arrived with a carry handle to make it easy to transport them. So far haven't noticed anything wrong with them, so happy to recommend.
