FAQS About ZOUPW 100W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel | N-Type 16BB

The given specifications were established in a controlled laboratory environment with constant conditions. When a solar panel is actually being used,it is common for the actual power output to fall short of the rated power of 100W

The actual charging power is affected by multiple factors, including the output parameters of the controller, sunlight intensity, the orientation and angle of the solar panel, environment temperature, air mass ,charging protocols, cable quality, and the maximum charging power supported by the connected devices. Additionally, some devices may accept different power levels at various charging stages(For example, some devices may reduce charging power when the battery charged level exceeds 50% to protect its battery)

Our 100W Lightweight Solar Panel for camping is rated IP67 waterproof, suitable for outdoor use.But the integrated controller is not water-resistant,please ensure the control box remains dry before using. To extend the lifespan of the 100W mc-4 solar panel ,please do not immerse it into water.

(1) Please check the environment and weather. Electricity generation maybe reduced or disrupted during cloudy or rainy conditions

(2) Please confirm the solar panel is oriented towards direct sunlight.Adjust its position to ensure sufficient sunlight exposure on the surface

(3) Please check if the output cable is properly plugged in or if there are any defects or loose connections.Try reconnecting the output cable

(4) Please inspect the surface of the folding solar panel for any obstructions and remove them

(5) Please check if your charging device is overheating. Some devices may automatically adjust their charging power or even pause charging based on temperature conditions. In such cases, please stop using the device or shut it down, wait for it to cool down, and then resume charging.

The perfect panel for Anker Solix Everfrost 2 and C300X

I have three of the 450 Watt N-Type 16 BB panels and they have been Outstanding! So recently I bought an Anker Solix Everfrost 40L Cooler and also the C300X Power Station and both of them Support 100 Watt Solar panels. This Panel has been outstanding powering the cooler. It's the perfect design and size and is easily deployed in seconds. It's also very compact and light weight. Much cheaper and better quality than the Anker equivalent. Thanks ZOUPW I am so impressed with this panel I am buying a second so I have one for each unit. 👍

Good Portable Panel for Smaller Power Stations

Purchased this for charging small power stations and actually was getting 110 watts in ideal sun before it was heat soaked. Good overall panel that is lightweight

Excellent wattage output

I’ll take 80% any day from a portable panel at full sun, it’s the only test I’ve completed so far.Tough panel, lightweight, strong closure magnets, very pleased.

Awesome portable solar panel

I really like this solar panel a lot. I haven’t had very much experience with solar panels, but I have been around a few in the past that didn’t work very efficiently. This panel, however, appears to be very efficient and generates a lot of power. The first thing I did was just plug a cell phone in to the panel and it charged my phone faster than I expected. I also happen to have a portable power station that I have been wanting to get solar panels for, which is why I ordered this product. I plugged this solar panel into my power station and left it out in the yard for a little bit and was really surprised how fast my power station showed 100% charge. This solar panel kit has a bunch of different connectors for charging a bunch of different makes and models of power stations. It is so nice not having to search for and buy an adapter just to be able to use it. I also have a smaller power station with a different charging port than the power station I’ve been using, but since this kit comes with a ton of adapters, I can easily connect to my small power station as well. Overall, I really don’t have any complaints and all and I’m extremely happy with this solar panel. If you want a good portable power source for camping or emergency preparedness, look no further, this one will work great.

Great 100 watt panel!

This is a really nice, lightweight 100 watt panel. The two halves close with magnets and stay in place with no issues for transport and storage. There are grommets on each corner for stakes / guy lines during use in windy conditions. The kickstands don't have grommets, but they seem plenty stable (the panel is pretty small after all). Connectivity is where this panel REALLY shines. It has built-in USB connections (two A and one C) and then standard solar MC4 connectors. An adapter cable is included that has an Anderson powerpole, an XT60, and two different barrel jacks. And there are ten additional barrel plug adapters! This panel can pretty much connect to any power station out there right out of the box. The panel produced 22.6V and was adding 60 watts to my Segway power station (60 watts out of a 100 watt panel is pretty good from all my solar testing). A few of these with a couple of branch connectors would make for a very light and formidable electricity producing kit. Four of these would be MUCH easier to transport than my one single Goal Zero 400 watt folding panel and would actually produce about 40 watts more!!!! Two thumbs way up. I'm very happy with this panel.

Competitively priced lightweight foldable solar panel with various adapters for most applications

The Zoupw lightweight, foldable, and highly efficient 100W solar panel is IP67 waterproof ( except for the small DC converter box on the back) and comes with a great assortment of adapter cables and universal plug adapter to interface with most common battery storage units !This solar panel only weights in at 6.7 Lbs and the folded size is approximately 22.4 x 21.6 X 1.7" thick. The solar panels are monocrystalline cells with an ETFE coating for durability and protection !During testing ( nice cloudless day), this product charged one of my battery storage units at it maximum rate ( 60W ) without any adjustment of the solar panels, and with adjustment I measured a solid 98W with my electronic load. ( see pixs )This is a great lightweight and nicely balanced when folded which makes transpiration much easier than some of my other portable solar panels.Quality material , workmanship and performance make this a solid 5 stars

Just what I needed for my portable setup

This foldable solar panel is exactly what I needed to complete my portable (of for emergencies) setup.First off, the foldable solar panel is light and easy to transport thanks to its sturdy carry handles. And setting up is easy, just unfold, prop up with the foldable support and connect it!As far as features, this panel has the cables to connect with any battery devices and includes several different adapters. Plus, it has a hub that includes usb and usb-c outputs to charge devices straight from the panel.I tested it out with a portable battery pack and it did a great job recharging the battery in a short time in the sunny South Florida. I also tested the passthrough power by having the battery connected to the solar panel and devices charging off of the battery, and while it charged the devices, the solar panel consistently kept the battery at a 100% while there was good sun light out.I would say this is a worth investment for off grid situations like camping and such, or to keep at home coupled with a battery pack for emergencies. Now, don’t expect this to power up your large home appliances, but it is definitely doing a good job with smaller things like a fridge/cooler set up and things in between!

100watt n-type

Very pleased with this panel. Quick shipping easy to setup. Best of all it produced 104 to 106 watts! Can't beat that.

Cloud tested.

I bought this to power my Anker C300 which has a maximum input of 100 watts. I live in northeastern New Jersey and even when the sky is clear there’s usually a haze of pollution or smoke from Canadian fires. Despite that this panel produced 90 watts on average. Usually about 93w.
Then I tested it on a cloudy day. By cloudy I mean it was overcast but I could still see the sun a little thru the clouds. I was still able to get 25 watts. My Anker 100 watt panel only got 15.
I also tested my new ZOUPW 450 watt panels and got 105 watts under the same conditions. I am more than pleased.

Fast charging for my Jackery Explorer 1000 v2

Impressed with the quality, ease of set up and hookup, portability. Hooked up to my Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 in full Feb TN sun, and it charged my power station from 60% to 100% in a little over an hour. The power station meter said it was pulling 167 w from the solar panels the entire time.

Works great, 82% efficiency!

I was filled with a bit of trepidation based on the country of origin and the track record of quality from that location, however, this panel works very well for the price! I hooked it up to my Anker Solix and was pulling 82-83 watts reliably in direct sunlight, and it charged my Anker with zero issues. I only use it for the Anker, so cannot attest as to the built in USB charge ports on it, but for the Anker it works wonderfully!

Works Great!

Lightweight and portable. I brought it with me camping to charge my power station and it worked perfectly! With cloud coverage I was getting about 15 watts on the low end, I'm averaging closer to 75 watts on clear days.

Great customer service.

I had an issue with using the right connector and sent them a message that was returned quickly with instructions on using the right connector.

Works very well--good range of connections

I initially made a mistake in connecting the wires, but once that was sorted out the panel worked well.It gives me the full 65W DC charging available on the Anker 521. The connector fits a bit loosely, so I tilt the Anker backwards to lean on the connector and give it slight pressure to stay put. This would definitely be something to look out for, however. The 35 deg. angle with the panel's supports fully extended is good for many locations in the US.It's well made and the magnets to close the panel are secure but not too hard to open.I can't see any need to pay more for a portable panel given the performance, durability, and variety of connections available. A panel that is not portable is a better choice for a long-term installation since the slight flex in a portable panel reduces its efficiency a bit.

This works great on the beach

This is a great accessory for the beach. Take already charged then let it keep getting sun while you're enjoying your time at the beach. It did great and kept a charge the whole time. Charges things kind of slow but we just used it like a wall outlet.

Impressive

I like so many things about this panel it isnt funny. It is lightweight and sorta flexible, has an integrated handle as well as pouches for the cabling and integrated kickstands, Its made out of a canvas type of material and its very well done. The output cable is polarized so you dont hook it up to the adapter wrong, and the adapter is a pigtail with a bunch of different plugs on it so you can rest assured yours will be on the unit. It has a variety of different size adapters for the pigtail as well. I hooked it up and aligned it to the sun and I saw an indicated 60 watt input so that falls in line with what I expect from the solar panel world. This would be great for camping because its light and easy to deploy.
