Please Note:Some portable power stations have a maximum input power limit. For instance, for Jackery Explorer 160 it has a maximum input of 42W. Even when using our 100 watt solar suitcase in optimal sunlight conditions, the power it receives won't exceed its 42W limit. This does not indicate that our solar panel has insufficient power output. Please verify your power station model and check if it has a maximum input power limit before placing your order.

For 12V batteries

we provide a complimentary 20A PWM charge controller and SAE-alligater clip cable

1.Connect the SAE-Alligator Clip Cable to the PWM Controller

2.Connect the battery, attach the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal and then connect the PWM controller to the solar panel portable

Note:The PWM controller is not waterproof, please avoid water immersion or prolonged rain exposure

With IP67 waterproofing,the100 watt solar suitcase is made to endure tough outdoor conditions. The tempered glass protects against scratches and cracks, ensuring a long lifespan and lower degradation

Constructed with 1.6mm tempered glass, the 100 watt solar suitcase offer excellent impact resistance and long-lasting performance, retaining up to 80% of power output even after 25 years

Our 100 watt solar suitcase is designed to be portable and foldable, with folded dimensions of 27 x 17.9 x 1.77 inches and weighing only 9.36 lbs. It includes a stylish carrying bag, making it easy to store in your camper or RV without occupying much space. For a quick setup, just unfold the folding solar panel and position the 2 kickstands at approximately a 90-degree angle toward the sun for maximum power output

FAQS About 100 watt solar suitcase with 20A PWM Controller

In full sunlight (with irradiance above 800W/m²), and with the foldable solar panel 100w properly angled, its output power can reach over 80W. However, if the sunlight intensity is lower, such as when there are clouds obstructing the sunlight, the panel's output power will decrease.Generally, you can expect the portable solar panels for camping to perform well in most situations, but it's important to consider that real-world conditions may result in lower power output than the maximum rated value

Please read the product detail page carefully before placing your order. This folding solar panel comes with a solar charging cable that includes 5 connectors: XT-60, Anderson, DC7909, DC8020 and DC5521. Before purchasing, please confirm that your power station's solar interface is compatible with at least one of these four connectors. Additionally, the output voltage of this solar panel is 19V, so please ensure that your power station's input voltage range includes 19V.

The actual output power of a 100w portable solar panel is typically lower than its rated power due to several factors:

Solar Irradiance: Rated power is measured under Standard Test Conditions (STC), which assume optimal conditions: 1000W/m² of sunlight, a panel temperature of 25°C, and direct sunlight. In real conditions, sunlight intensity is often lower due to cloud cover, time of day, or geographical factors, leading to reduced output.

Temperature: Solar panels lose efficiency as their temperature rises. High temperatures cause a decrease in output power, as most panels have a negative temperature coefficient, meaning their output decreases as the temperature increases.

Angle and Orientation: If the panel is not positioned to directly face the sun or at the optimal angle, it will receive less sunlight, resulting in lower output.

Panel Aging: Over time, solar panels degrade, and their efficiency decreases. Typically, panels retain around 80% of their original output after 25 years.

Shading: Even partial shading (from trees, buildings, etc.) can significantly reduce a panel's output, as it affects the entire panel's performance.

Strong Performance

I just got this. I headed outside to charge up a new battery pack and set them up in my backyard. This panel immediately started pumping out 99w and soon got up to a peak of 115w ! This was on a partly cloudy day in Florida in late March.

When I had clear skies, it would stay above 100 watts, generally between 105 and 110. I consider this to be outstanding performance from a 100w panel. Will be interesting to see if I can get above 115w in summer sunlight.

The panel itself is very light and takes just a few seconds to set up. The legs are metal, which I prefer, and it comes with about every adaptor known to man, including a 10ft extension cord. The alligator clamps and separate MPPT controller for charging up vehicle batteries are a nice bonus. The nice zippered case is excellent too.

I highly recommend this panel !

97 watts out of a 100 watt panel.

Tested. Charging at 97 watts! Can't ask for more than that. Construction is nice and sturdy with built-in legs, nice carry case, and all the cables needed. I didn't want a flimsy soft panel. Definitely recommend.

Nice kit, everything works together

I got this kit to charge a 100Ah, 13V Lithium ion battery. Everything (other than the battery of course!) is included to do this. Just plug the solar panels into the included charger, and then just clip onto the battery leads. Works great, and I was getting about 80W peak in direct sunlight. That's pretty typical for most 100W solar panels. This kit also includes a variety of other adapters to connect to solar generators like Ecoflow, Bluetti, etc.

Exceptional charging rate!

I got a fairly consistent charging rate of 94 watts when the panel was optimally oriented to the sun. The included cable has numerous options to connect it to your equipment. One drawback is that the Anderson adapter is not configurable so if the connector on your unit is not configured as the Anderson connector on the included cable, you will need an adapter if you wish to use this "high output" connection. That said, the panel is 100 watts and does not require a high output connector. this would only apply if you were to stack additional panels.
